I am super excited to share something very special with you today, for all who follow me on Instagram and Snapchat must have seen sneak peek of this shoot I did a couple of months ago with my blogger friends.
I have also shared a little bit about The Fairytulle Skirts (in this blog post), I am beyond excited to tell you all that It's finally ready and will be available online today onward i.e., 1st August' 2016 exclusively at www.mariposalove.com
It’s been a crazy journey for me
From Dream to Reality
It wasn't an overnight process (Obviously!) A lot has happened- dreaming, planning, procrastination, and what not. I have been dragging this project for months and so on. During this journey I went through many stressful and stormy life moments. I am in continuous competition with my own-self, I think I am my best critic and i feel that I am such a perfectionist, I always try and do things like I have imagined them to be, unless until I'm 100% satisfied i don't like sharing it with the world. However I am never fully satisfied with anything, (haha let's be real) but Yes! I can say I have put in the best of my efforts in this collection and I am hopeful to receive a heart whelming response again from all of you.
Since we are ready to enter the Fashion Market, let me share a little story about
The Fairytulle Skirts
Do you remember Sarah Jessica Parker aka Carrie Bradshaw of Sex and the City wearing that beautiful green tulle skirt in Paris when Mr. Big finally confessed how he really feel for her? The moment I saw that scene, I told myself : Someday I'm going to recreate this look, and twirl around in the streets of PARIS!
June, 2014 when I went to Paris for the first time, I wore an Ivory Tulle skirt with a blue denim shirt and Trust me, everybody was looking at me, many of them especially came to me and appreciated my style, Honestly, that was my little fairytale moment, ever since then whenever I have worn a tulle skirt, I've got so many compliments and love from all.
Who doesn't want to look like a princess? Honestly, who? please raise your hand.
I have seen so many international fashionistas wearing a tulle skirt at many occasions but I have not seen many Indian girl wearing it, not even our Bollywood Celebrities, so that's when I thought to why not start making these skirts and let our Indian Beauties twirl around in it and write their own fairytale.
I think every fashionista must have a Tulle Skirt in her closet.
Do You AGREE?
Special thanks to my blogger friends for being my muse in this look book shoot and my brother for capturing everything so perfectly.
